In the News
At Green Coffins Ireland we are extremely proud to have been at the forefront of promoting Environmentally Friendly Coffins here in Ireland and further afield. So much so that these "Eco Coffins" are commonly referred to as Green Coffins after our company name.
We could not have done this with our limited budget without the help of the media. Below is just some of the articles written about us.
The Leitrim Observer were quick off the mark - article from away back in 2009 - it's funny to look back and see how far we have progressed in a few years
The Irish Examiner ran an article on the willow Weaving training Programme we ran in 2011
Network Ireland Magazine
In 2012 a team from Network Ireland visited us at Woodbrook Natural Burial Ground. Image from the article the ran:
www.TheJournal.ie included us in an article on what is new in the funeral industry
Old Moores Almanac
As one of our favourite magazines we were delighted to make an appearance
The Irish Indo
Although not that comfortable with talking on radio Colin has taken part in a number of radio talks on the subject of green coffins and Natural Burial
Ray Darcy Show
When the Ray Darcy show asked for people to ring in to get free publicity for new businesses in 2009 someone (Gavan) told them they should speak to us. Although we did not make the short list for the free advertising we were asked to take part in a discussion a couple of days later on the subject of Green Coffins.
Mooney Goes Wild
When the Mooney show came to The Grianan Theatre in September 2010 we were invited to come along to discuss our new venture. In front of a packed theatre we had a long chat and great fun.
